Eric's LettersHealth UpdateFrom: Eric Pullin Rachel-- I know you frequently think that I have too much time on my hands, but I just had to share a freakish mishap that occurred to me today. As I was sitting at my chair this morning, I felt a warm sensation in my right butt cheek. I hope I am not being too graphic. Anyway, I ignored it at first, but by 10:30 this morning, that warm sensation became a warm pulsation. I tried to work through the discomfort, but by lunch time, sitting had become a very unpleasant affair. After our 1:30 staff meeting, I noticed that I had started walking with a limp; no pain, just a limp. When I sat back down in my chair, it felt like I was leaning to one side. At 2:00, when the afternoon courier delivered the mail, she said, "Damn, boy, your right booty be big!" Stunned, I rushed to the restroom to take a look. In order to see what was happening, I actually stepped up onto the bathroom sinks. Facing away from the mirror, I bent down and examined myself through my legs. Rachel, what I saw frightened me to my core. Rachel, my right cheek is expanding and the nursing students here at the college can't figure out why. One of them suggested that I used too much chafing cream, but I don't think so. Anyway, I don't know what's wrong; all I know is that my right butt cheek is about the size of an Easter basket. Currently I am working on my stomach. --Eric
